Flybe have bought Finncomm!

Lots of news today!

This wasn't expected. Flybe have taken a 60% stake in Finnish Commuter Airlines, (Finncomm)! Finncomm will become "Flybe Nordic", as Flybe begin their expansion into continental Europe. Finncomm operate 13 ATR-500 series and 2 Embraer 170's, so the fleets aren't too disimilar.

This is the first stage of Flybe's European expansion, following in the footsteps of other LCC's like EasyJet and Ryanair. Flybe had previously stated that the Embraer E-175's on order are partially for Dash 8 replacement and partly for European expansion.
